Logo design for a website feature documenting a travellers experience around the UK using the newly launched HTC One smartphone.
FOX SPORTS CENTRAL was replacing ESPN SportsCenter as FOX SPORTS channels flagship sports news show. This series shows the iterations of the logo design developed in-house before commissioning Superestudio to work on the opening titles for the show. From these designs four were selected as contenders before settling on the final version seen below in a still frame taken from the opening titles.
For the start of GAME season 5 the plan was to totally change the opening titles using abstract concepts to represent different gaming genres.

Mockup motion graphics demonstrating the Alienware logo presenting the links on a show called Glitch.
When ESPN STAR Sports rebranded as FOX SPORTS in January 2013 they needed a new logo for their football social media presence, which was to be renamed Love The Game FC. Obviously the heart symbol is synonymous with love, I also incorporated the idea of a player clutching a ball as part of the new design.
In order to celebrate having exclusive cable rights to The Olympic Games on ESPN, a birthday greeting was created for every day of the year to send internally to employees. Wikipedia was the main source of information using boolean searches for "Olympic Gold AND born XX month" etc. Minimum criteria was for the athlete to have won at least a bronze except for January 1 which happened to be the birthday of Pierre de Fredy, founder of the modern Olympic Games.
Contact me if you'd like to know which Olympic legend you share your birthday with.
Kleverbeast is an online tool that can be used to create great looking mobile apps without having to write a single line of code. Still in a beta phase I wanted to test the application by creating an iPad version of a portfolio site.
Starting with one of the template projects I added my own images and content to populate the application. Results are quick and you can upload the project and launch it easily for viewing on the iPad using the Kleverbeast application which is free in the app store.
Opening titles for the upcoming season of GOALS; Premier League highlights show on ESPN STAR SPORTS. Logo, design, compositing and audio mix all done as a solo project.
When the news sports show, Sports Central, launched in January 2013 the initial plan was to have a touchscreen application in studio used to present various sections of the show. After sketching out a rough workflow diagram I took the design elements in to Photoshop and created still frames that step through each section of the application. Using InVision I then created a working prototype to develop a sense of how the user would navigate through. The mockup can be presented on an iPad (and saved as webapp) or other touchscreen devices.
A quick opening sting was required for the event... used it as an opportunity to experiment with Plexus and BCC 3d.
Logo design for a reboot of the Football Crazy show with Singha beer/water as title sponsor.
Logo design for a SHELL sponsored motorbike themed show featuring Charley Boorman as host. The rougher version was created as part of a show mock-up and approved in principal by the client. When the show was commissioned I refined the logo, making the dove more stylised and symmetrical. The feather design is derived from the SHELL corporate logo which has been in use since 1904, in colour since 1948.
Opening titles for the t20 event starting at the end of April 2010 in the West Indies.

In October 2012 I signed up with Coursera. The first course I took was Design: Creation of Artifacts in Society, with Karl T. Ulrich from University of Pennsylvania. Shown here are the steps taken each week, following along with the course, in developing an iOS app aimed at making the user experience of money conversion apps better than currently available.
